FAQ

What’s your style/approach to wedding photography?

I love telling stories through photography. This means that my style centers around documenting the big and small moments. Persons who have worked with me will notice than I shoot a blend of candid, real, raw and posed moments.

Additionally, I believe that while I have a style of photography, the unique personalities of each person should shine through in my images. To me it is this fusion that makes an album truly special.

Do you photoshop your clients?

Photoshop is an important element of the editing process. At times it may be needed to remove persons from the background of an image especially if the shoot is done at a public location.

However, I don't Photoshop elements that make each person unique. For example your birthmarks, your height etc. I try to let the images be true to the individual. Of course, temporary blemishes such as acne etc. can be removed and before shooting I always ensure that you are comfortable and feeling your best.

Do you deliver RAW photos?

Raw photos are not shared. Every photo you receive is carefully edited to ensure consistency and quality.

How far in advance do we need to book?

The sooner the better as this increases the likelihood of your desired date being available.

How long after our wedding do we have to wait to get our photos?

For 1 hour long shoots: 2-3 weeks
For weddings- 4-6 weeks

However, I always try my best to deliver before once possible as some seasons allow for faster delivery times.

How many photos should we expect?

Each wedding and shoot is unique. Therefore, some may have more elements while others may have less. However, a general guide is:

1 hour shoots- 30-60
Weddings- 200-600 (also based on the length of coverage selected)

How long have you been a professional photographer for?

I have been shooting professional for over 13 years. You're in good hands!

Is there a "GOOD" time to take photos?

While I can make things happen in most circumstances, I usually recommend the "golden' hours. That is, right before/after sunrise and right before/after sunset. These times usually provide beautiful light and as a natural light photographer I believe my best work is done at these periods in time.
